What is one of your favorite/most magical musical experiences?

Live concerts and festivals and such are the best musical experiences. There is nothing like it. Playing music with people, too. There’s nothing like sharing music with other people as well.

If you had to pick a favorite artist who would it be? (tough one I know)

It truly is impossible for me to pick a favorite artist or five. Everything from Animal Collective, to Cults, to Little Dragon, to Modest Mouse, to Mux Mool, to Of Montreal, to Neutral Milk Hotel, to TV Girl, to Yacht, and back around again for stuff like the Beatles, and Buddy Guy, and Queen, and ZZ Top (I got to see them live!), and R.L. Burnside, and Stevie Ray Vaughn, and Aretha Franklin, and Diana Ross. Pretty much everything in between and more!

If you had to share one artist right now who would it be? Why?

If I had to share one band right now, it would probably be Portugal. The Man. It’s always the number one band I recommend because they are amazing in so many different ways and so accessible. They are easily one of my all-time favorites!

What genres of music are you into most?

I’m most into genres like classic rock, blues, soul, chiptune, electronic, indie, indie electronic rock, indie pop, shoe-gaze chill-wave new-haze dream-pop whatever type stuff. Hard to explain other than most genre’s other than Pop and Country (I suppose I’d add “techno” to genre’s I don’t much care for…).

Anything else music related or hobby related you’d like to share?

Not sure what type of other info to share, maybe that I am somewhat of a musician, having had 10 years experience in choir and a few years each in violin, bass guitar, and I just recently got a ukulele, and of course I dink around on the keyboards and guitar (not very well I might add). It’s not really something I’m going to pursue other than as a hobby and to jam with other people and such. I am very excited about where music is heading and of course awesome amazing super-fantastic programs like ex.fm! There really is nothing I enjoy more than sharing and experiencing music with other people and I adore how it’s becoming easier and more common everyday.
